Robert B. Bledsoe of Dallas Texas was sentenced to thirty years in the penitentiary after pleading guilty to attempted robbery of Lawrence M. Jones a wealthy Kansas City merchant. Judge Ralph W Latshaw expressed regret the term could not be longer.
The Cheyenne Daily Leader announces the largest Wyoming edition to honor the Third Dry Farming Congress. A 36 page magazine style issue with colored cover will feature dry farming experts and Wyoming resources, promoting settlers and investors to boost state development.

Pittsburg February court verdict finds Councilman John F. Klein guilty in a bribery scandal. He allegedly accepted a 17500 dollar bribe from the former bank president and cashier to name the National Bank the city depository.
