Depot enlargement planned after big explosion near Salt Wells

Rock Springs reports the depot will be enlarged by 25 feet at one end and 16 feet at the other after a major explosion near Salt Wells, where a long smoldering coal bed fire caused a blast heard 30 miles away. The incident followed a week of underground fire and gas buildup in the hills.
