New York report details three and a half year old Ferdinand Voight and two year old Freda Voight playing near their dead parents after their father Frederick Voight at No 800A Jefferson Avenue killed his wife Freda and himself. A policeman intervened. the children hid as officers found the scene and the bodies. The two youngsters, exhausted, waited through the crisis while authorities arranged care through the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
In Fairbury Nebraska on February 4 E B Hills an Evanston Wyoming electrician was found dying near railroad tracks. He died shortly after at 6 49 am without regaining consciousness. He was reportedly a member of the electricians union. A separate note mentions a Carl Kitowz at 208 North Ninth Street and an incident at Fourteenth Farnam where a handkerchief dropped from a pocketbook was picked up by a young man who vanished.

In Little Bowk near Brentwood the home of Mrs. Frank Lathrop burned last night killing her two sons William 15 and Frank 25 and a young visitor George Barris. The tragedy occurred February 4 at the Brentwood area home.
