Maxim Gorky to face trial on political charges amid uncertain court type. Moscow nobility votes to memorialize throne and elective assembly. Gov Gen Trehof calls St Petersburg situation satisfactory. Manchuria army leadership changes as Lt. Gen. My lor replaces retiring Lt. Gen. of the Second Army.
In Vicwr Colorado February 3 a pair of masked robbers robbed John Maussett’s saloon at Mikton. They forced patrons to face the wall and surrender cash amounting to 26 pounds and seized three six shooters a rifle and a shotgun. The bandits sat down and smoked their pipes after securing the loot.
The Interstate Commerce Commission sent its report to the attorney general on rebates given by the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe to Colorado Fuel and Iron. The commission finds law violation and refers the matter to the Department of Justice for action. No relation is found between Secretary Morton and the rebate transactions.

Casper Wyoming February report says William Gothberg was dismissed on perjury charges for lack of grounds. Prosecutor faced sharp rebuke from Judge Carpenter over Gothberg’s arrest and handling by the district attorney.

It omits Boyson mineral land location preference and water rights protections until allotments and related steps are completed. George Berger a 60 year old blacksmith and wagonmaker was found dead in a Stall in Asmus & Le at about 5 o'clock by F D Moore. A bottle labeled reform lay beside him, indicating self infliction. He was alive at noon and missing thereafter until the discovery. He leaves a wife and two daughters.
Basin Wyoming February report says H H Hale police court judge learned he is the de facto heir to a Maine grandfather’s estate. The fortune is reputed to exceed one million dollars. Hale plans to travel east soon to manage the inherited wealth.
Terry Mostine returned to Omaha yesterday and George D. Rainsford of Diamond is in the city. A. J. Bothwell came back to Casper, H. R. Dillman is home with la grippe. H. Waldo Moore and N. B. Greenfield, both attorneys, arrived from Denver and Rawlinson respectively. Mrs Rosenberg left Dallas to join her husband Representative McGrath in Fremont county. Master Mechanic William Niland returned from a western trip. Mrs Charles Kite Miller Inet eight's condition improved. Minnie Sorenson, on business here, departed for Alliance Nebraska this morning.
