Insurgents control parts of Moscow as troops seize barricades and a clash at the Prefecture of Police leaves two policemen dead and a wounded soldier. Two large armories pillaged, cannon feared, and deaths likely in the thousands as fighting spreads across the city.
Special to The Leader reports W. C. Fletcher of Badger, formerly from Arin Junction, was tossed from a horse near Douglas, Wyoming, two days ago. He remains unconscious with a fractured skull after his head struck a wagon wheel, and little hope is held for recovery.
Raton New Mexico December 23 fireman William Kelley who was shot Wednesday in the Arcade saloon by Charlie Carter one of the owners dies. He leaves a wife and three children. one child is over a week old.
The metal markets report quiet trading in New York on December 24 with silver at 65 1/4, lead and copper activity subdued amid thin demand.
Washington reports fair and warmer conditions expected in Wyoming Sunday and Monday. Yesterday’s data shows a maximum of 33 degrees and a minimum of 8 degrees.

Ironwood Michigan December 23 eight men were killed when a slip released about 1000 tons of ore from the 1300 foot level of the Newport mine in Tronwood. The dead include Poe O Hara John Frank Peter Demars James B Lynch Alexander Parenbrake Nick Crogovil Joe Luckner Frank Tran. Recovery will take days due to drifting ore and broken timbers.
Mrs. M. B. Kelley mother of Mrs. E. B. Woodmansee died last night at 10 20 at her daughter's home after a stroke of paralysis a week earlier. She lived with Mrs. Woodmansee three years and previously resided at Hastings Nebraska. Survived by two sons B. M. Kelley and George Kelley of Hastings and daughter Mrs Rose Aldrich Cheyenne. Funeral arrangements to be announced.
Alonzo H. Hanson of Spokane Washington and Beulah Hockin Amythe of Shelbyville Kentucky married in Cheyenne last night after scheduling the ceremony there. They planned to depart for Seattle this morning unless they choose to locate in Cheyenne.
McGinnis of Lusk was bound over by Justice Root to $1,500 for the next district term to answer robbery charges. County Attorney Miller prosecuted. McGinnis knocked Norvis Lawrence down and took over $100.
Olaf Grave employed in Uniani Pacific wheel shop suffered a severe injury yesterday morning when he fell against a rapidly revolving pulley wheel. A circular gash exposed bone and a scalp wound were sustained. he was transported to St. John's hospital.

Maguel Albo an 85 year old gardener was killed in Trinidad Colorado when two trains on parallel tracks approached as he tried to cross to reach the power house. He was fatally struck and badly mangled. a family survives him.
John A. Nichols, 75 or 76, a quarantine commissioner and recent witness before the legislature investigation committee, died in New York. He had written letters to Senator New, referring to a "cantankerous friend up the river."
Mrs. Clayton Slaughter Burbank arrived from the Philippines to plead with President Roosevelt to overturn the court martial sentence of her son First Lieut Sidney S. Burbank. He was sentenced to fifteen months' imprisonment and dismissal from the service.
Henry Kulper of Galveston Texas says he lost his wealth in the Galveston Hood disaster and was deported today on the Colorado. He claims naturalization in 1885 and a Galveston hardware business before the loss.
