Commissioner Richards ordered a boundary adjustment of the Bighorn Forest Reserve to remove grazing land, shrinking the reserve by sixty five thousand two hundred eighty acres. Foreign and domestic corporations paid 29 360 35 for filing articles of incorporation. He will recommend measures to the legislature.
Four more deaths from wood alcohol poisoning are reported at the mouth of Beaver river, bringing total fatalities to ten. Two additional victims are said to be dying as authorities investigate the incident in Island, Kentucky.
Jim Vine a Sheridan tin horn gambler was stabbed a few days ago by his mistress Vivian. The shoulder wound is not serious.
Peter Hebbard pleaded guilty to horse stealing in Sheridan. Judge Stotts sentenced him to one year in the penitentiary. Hebbard borrowed a horse from Eaton Bros and sold it to BD W Snelling.
In Minneapolis the east wall of the O. H. Peck building collapsed after a Tuesday night fire, crushing the Crocker hotel. Twelve inmates are missing and feared buried as four bodies are recovered and firemen work to rescue others amid ongoing flames.
In Cleveland on December 19 four witnesses testified in the bankruptcy case of Mrs. Cassie L. Chadwick. The hearing was adjourned to tomorrow as receiver Nathan Loeser seeks to locate the missing trunk and jewelry while Chadwick’s husband sails from Europe. The doctor acted as physician for his mother and sister during illness and both died, drawing public attention.

Mrs James Jensen and children are visiting at Indianola Iowa. Edward M Banks returned to Chugwater yesterday morning. Mr and Mrs Frank Garland are city visitors from Wheatland. Father Conrad returned from Wheatland on last night’s train. A W Phillips the Douglas oil man is attending to business in the city. Assistant Superintendent W A Whitney has returned from Laramie. Edward Bray continues to improve and will soon be entirely recovered from appendicitis. Mrs R P Fuller has returned from Denver where she visited her mother Mrs Thomas Reid. Mrs Reid has been sick at a Denver hospital for several weeks.
Union Pacific sells Cheyenne to Ogden or Salt Lake City and return tickets for 22.50 with final return by January 4 1905. Travel offered December 24 25 26 31 and January 1 2. Agent J F Barron handles sales.
