Hughes declines to influence New York GOP convention

Saxe Will Introduce Endorsement Resolution After Letter

Senator Martin Saxe announced in New York that Governor Hughes does not object to his endorsed resolution. He will proceed to introduce the resolution, blocked only by the possibility of the Parsons faction winning the county committee vote. Casper Casper County Detachment reports Alvert Schutt a G T Brooke plumber severely burned by a gasoline torch explosion at Harold Banner residence. A nearby worker pulled him clear and Banner pushed him into a snow drift to extinguish flames. Schutt escaped with scorching along the left side.
