Denver cattle sales show slow trade with prices 15 to 25 cents lower than last week. Beef steers and cows move with decent demand, calves and bulls firmer. Sheep from Northern Colorado sell at 4.10, higher than river markets, while eastern markets remain 25 to 70 cents lower.

He claimed the horse came from Sunrise and belonged to him, but investigation showed he resided in Wheatland and the horse belonged to his father. He was discharged. the horse is held for the elder Shafer.
