Infant dies after scalding accident in Derby

A three year old boy James McBheohey died after falling into a tub of boiling water while mother scolded his older brother. The incident occurred as the mother carried a footbath tub full of hot water into the room and returned to comfort the younger child, who then jumped into the scalding water in a moment of sobs. Railroad brakeman hurt in Bitter Creek accident

Robert Rankin, a Union Pacific brakeman, fell under an engine at Bitter Creek station while trying to board the pilot.
