The Denver cattle market opened brisk with 3 000 head receipts and strong demand. Beef steers sold around 6.00 flat with other bulls and cows in demand. Wyoming steers at 4.95 and 4.25 for the main lot, killers 3.75 to 4.25. cows 2.30 to 3.70, hunters at 3.90, veals 3.75 to 4.75. Sheep sold firm to higher with fat lambs 6.85 and 6.10, feeding lambs 5.60 to 5.70. local demand strong and shipments liberal.
