The Gulf, Colorado & Southern railway asks Congress for a right of way across Indian Territory from near Cook County Texas to west of Coffeyville Kansas. Tense clashes loom as Nationalists and Orangemen brace Newbury

Farwell block fire devastates major Chicago building
