Sheriff E J Smalley arrested Mrs Myrtle Norwood 26 and O T Ray 23 on a cohabitation charge after a telegraph from Edward Norwood of Denver. The pair, said to have eloped from Denver, had been living with Norwood's wife in Cheyenne and their 5 year old son Clarence accompanied them in jail. Mrs Norwood waited at the Gem restaurant when seized. Ray was picked up at the Sanitary Home laundry.
Floyd Simpson, sentenced to eighteen months for forgery, said goodbye to his young wife as she left by afternoon train to Des Moines. She wept, the couple cried, and the arrest left Mrs Simpson destitute. she received a ticket and funds from county commissioners for travel. Simpson will be taken to the penitentiary tomorrow.

F H Newell director of the government reclamation service visited Denver after a month touring irrigation projects from San Francisco to Denver. He said contractor failures due to price rises hampered work but projects should finish within two years and key irrigation canals near completion with planned funding.
