Fatal launch accident at Wolf ship yard crowds witness hall
At Wolf and Davidson’s yard the steamer Wm. H. Wolf splashed into the dock causing a collapse of a coal shed. Three men died outright and about twenty were badly hurt among the crowd of roughly a thousand spectators. Names of the dead and injured include Ed Seerbell and Chas Wilivaz, with many others not yet reached by reports.
