New health centre opens in Hudson's Hope after fire

The $4.3 million facility consolidates health services under one roof in Hudson's Hope. The centre includes an ambulance station, medical offices, dental clinic, pharmacy, emergency and trauma rooms, lab and radiology, plus home nursing and counselling services. Attendance at the opening included Health Minister Joy MacPhail and local officials. The project is funded by the ministry, Peace Liard Regional Hospital District, fire insurance, totaling sobre 4.3 million with a 60 40 split and 337000 for the ambulance station.
