Unplugged small appliance recycling launches in Peace River
The Unplugged program starts Oct 1 2011 in the North Peace region offering BC residents a new disposal option for about two million small appliances. Fees from 25 cents to 10 dollars fund collection, transport, and processing at Eco-Depot and other local drop-offs, diverting items from landfills and supporting BC recycling goals.
