Public meeting debates Site C dam plans in Chetwynd BC
A Tuesday night gathering in Chetwynd drew 12 to 20 residents and Peace region locals to discuss BC Hydro Site C dam plans expected to provide jobs until 2015. Protesters Jean Hicks and Lorraine Dotson stood along Highway 97 voicing opposition, arguing the project and its claimed benefits overlook future impacts and the value of the natural world.
