Take Back The Night 2001 Walk Emphasis In Communities
Take Back The Night events originated in Germany in 1973 as a response to assaults and murders. The 2001 walk is set for Thursday September 27 at 7 00 pm starting at the Women's Resource Centre and ending back there with safety talk and refreshments. A target of 50 participants is set by Tumbler Ridge. last year 25 in Chetwynd and about 80 in Tumbler Ridge joined. Contact 788-3793 for details.
