Chetwynd Half Marathon sees faster finish and rising registrations
Gene Lecuyer of Tsawwassen won the 28th annual event finishing in one hour 27 minutes 27 seconds, beating last year’s winning time by over nine minutes. About 60 runners participated as registrations increased from the previous year amid cool overcast conditions and a wind. Organizers praised the race and medals were awarded to top three finishers with plans already underway for next year.
