Reading Buddies program seeks volunteers and snacks support
The Reading Buddies program built last year with six readers and seven tutors, funded by district grants, offering 30 to 60 minute after school sessions. Volunteers of any student or adult meeting reading standards are asked to commit weekly, with Grade six or higher tutors preferred to aid slower readers and boost confidence and literacy.
