Changes to wildlife permits regulation brief
A ministry brochure details Sept 1 changes to wildlife permit rules. A 20 percent surcharge funds the Habitat Conservation Trust Fund about 32 000 dollars yearly to support conservation projects. Highlights include permit exemptions for food bank donations and free permits for qualified disabled hunters, plus ownership permits for dead wildlife rather than possession permits.
