CN selects GCRC to run Fraser Discovery tourist trains
CN named Great Canadian Railtour Co. GCRC will operate a new Fraser Discovery route linking Whistler and Jasper via Prince George using B C Rail and CN tracks. Start May 2006 with six monthly trips, expanding to more as market grows, plus Whistler Mountaineer launching 2006. GCRC project aims to boost tourism and create jobs along the route with workshops in Prince George and other centers.
