Bank Robbery at Scotiabank in Chetwynd
A male robber with a black handgun robbed Scotiabank downtown Chetwynd at about 1 30 pm on August 27, forcing customers to the floor and fleeing with cash in a green mini van after witnesses saw a blonde female passenger. Nine to ten people were inside. a witness fled as masked suspect demanded money. Police pursued the vehicle for about 100 kilometers before it was lost near Red Willow Forest Service Road.
