Car Seat Saves Child After Highway 97 Roll Over
Chetwynd Fire Department reports a crash 30 km south of Chetwynd on Highway 97. A dad, mom, and 2 year old were in a compact car that left the road and plunged down a 75 degree embankment, striking trees before stopping against a large tree. The infant was protected by a car seat. bystanders freed the dad and infant, while the mother suffered more serious injuries and was assisted by ambulance crews. See CHD CHILD page 8.
