Fossil fish returned to Tumbler Ridge exhibit
The Tumbler Ridge Museum Foundation adds a 65 cm posterior half of a large Early Triassic Saurichthys sp. fish to its collection. Donated by Roy Christie, the fragmented fossil was reassembled at the Peace Region Palaeontology Research Centre by Rich McCrea and Lisa Buckley, linking Wapiti Lake’s vertebrate history to public display and study.
