Photo radar crackdown starts as 60k vehicles checked
Police reports show from August 16 to 19 nearly 60,000 vehicles passed 20 photo radar vans while only 4,345 were photographed. Most drivers stayed within speed limits, with Abbotsford Langley and Port Moody recording the highest photo rates. The program aims to deter speeding and improve crash and injury statistics over time.
