Talk of the Town from Jackfish Lake and Grande Prairie
The column covers travel between Grande Prairie and Jackfish Lake after Thanksgiving, local calls for volunteers for Halloween candy, and upcoming Chetwynd night events. It notes Janet Lawson starting Small Beginnings in Wabi Estates, local relocations, breast cancer fundraiser support for Janet Brooks, and the sale of an acreage in Chetwynd. Birthdays and anniversaries are mentioned, with the author awaiting November end and a husband starting a new job.
