Dam investigation costs climb at WAC Bennett Dam site
Rick Davison reports BC Hydro has spent about 7 million on the sinkhole probe at the WAC Bennett dam near Hudson's Hope since summer. A second sinkhole near a benchmark pipe is confirmed, CPT data show loose material down to 215 feet, 20 feet above bedrock. Hydro says no area is ruled out as the full dam is checked and monitored.
