Dawson Creek hosts regional Solar BC launch at City Hall
At the Kiwanis Performing Arts Centre on September 22 Dawson Creek launched Phase 1 of its Community Energy Plan with plans to install a solar hot water system at City Hall. Mayor Wayne Dahlen promotes the project as a regional showcase and training hub while Taylor Munro Energy Systems notes the system size mirrors typical homes. 70 attendees include local contractors and energy supporters as BCSEA aims for 20 installations by 2007 and public interest grows in solar efficiency and savings.
