Seniors gain extra long-term bed and day centre in Chetwynd

Northern Health expands senior care in Chetwynd with one more long-term bed at Chetwynd Hospital and Health Centre and a full-time adult day centre. The program offers health monitoring, referrals, personal care, recreational activities, meals, and treatments for five daily clients at $4 per day, or $6 with transport.

BCGEU instructors reach tentative agreement at Northern Lights College

The B C Government and Service Employees Union reaches a tentative contract with Northern Lights College for 240 instructors across campuses in Atlin Chetwynd Dawson Creek Dease Lake Fort Nelson Fort St. John Hudsons Hope and Tumbler Ridge.
