Inland Gas Moves to New Access Road Site
Inland Natural Gas Co has moved to a new building on Access Road and 46 St, housing offices and a residence. The firm began installations in 1958 with eight customers that year and now serves 393 active customers and 415 services in 1977. Manager Larry Tuck, from Nelson in 1971, leads the Chetwynd Hudson Hope district with wife Gail and daughter Nicole.

Vancouver Board of Trade visits Chetwynd on North Exploration tour
The Chetwynd Chamber of Commerce hosted Vancouver Board of Trade members on Monday September 26 as part of the Exploration North tour. The visitors met 24 local members, toured from the dam to Faro and Dawson Creek, and were welcomed by Bunne Hoffman. Gavel gifts and Little Giant pins were exchanged, with coffee and sweets provided by Bob Walkden of the Little Village Inn.

Village council eyes new zoning and curling plant plans
The Village Council met Sept 29 with only the Mayor and two Aldermen present. Items deferred until full attendance included the Community Zoning By-law. RRAP approval from the Regional District designates the area as a pilot project. A. Teslyk named returning officer for the municipal election.
