Victim Services seeks to expand CVS board and volunteers
Chetwynd Victim Services aims to roughly double its roster by adding two or three volunteers and forming CVS teams. Co ordinator Cheryl Maurice notes volunteers must pass screening, undergo a clear criminal check, and endure crisis situations. Volunteers Marleta Erickson and Susan Rothlisberger describe the reward of helping victims and the emotional toll of the work.
