Massey and Kinsley clash over Enbridge pipeline plan
Former Prince George mayor and Northern Gateway Alliance chair Colin Kinsley spoke at the Chetwynd Chamber luncheon about a proposed 5.5 billion pipeline project to move oil from Edmonton through northern British Columbia to Kitimat. The plan includes a 36 inch main line carrying 525,000 barrels per day and a 20 inch line moving 193,000 barrels of condensate to Edmonton. He addressed recent Enbridge spills in the United States and noted older pipelines dating to the 1950s and 1960s.
