Addictions Week Activities Attract Residents In Chetwynd
Chetwynd residents joined Addiction Week events at the Rec Centre and a Friday speakers night in the Saulteau gymnasium. LaPretre notes pamphlets were taken, questions asked, and the Thursday free swim drew interest though Friday’s walk drew fewer participants than last year. He suggests separating next year’s events from Lightup for sharper focus. Saulteau First Nations events also saw strong turnout with about 50 attendees.
