C A R E S hosts a second Green Christmas workshop on Thursday November 25 at Northern Lights College to create crafts and gift wrapping from scraps. Attendees will learn recyclable alternatives since traditional wrap is not recyclable. The Recycling Centre and Bottle Depot hours are listed for busy waste reduction.

Fire Chief Rob Henry with the Moberly Lake Volunteer Fire Department approved an order for a new International four door four wheel drive pumper tanker from HUB fire engines on November 5. HUB was chosen after bids from four manufacturers. Delivery is expected end of April 2000.
