He notes streamlined procedures for firms under 2 million in annual sales, quarterly remittance options for under 6 million, opt outs for under 30 thousand, and a potential 600 dollar admin fee. Farmers and fishermen see input tax refunds as the system replaces the old Manufacturers' Sales Tax.
The mayor invites the public to a November 28 1989 session at Cottonwood Hall Chetwynd & Area Recreation Centre to discuss 1989 accomplishments and 1990 goals, followed by a tour of the new swimming pool under construction. Tour at 7 00 pm and meeting at 7 30 pm.
