Chetwynd Medical Clinic Fundraising Receives Strong Community Support
The District of Chetwynd thanks residents and businesses for donations toward the Chetwynd Medical Clinic and Community Wellness Centre. West Fraser lumber donated by Chetwynd Forest Industries, plus $250,000 from Northern Development Initiative Trust and $100,000 from Peace River Regional District, helped push total to $539,620 raised. Local cash and in kind gifts amount to about $32,000 as the community rallies behind the project for local health needs.
