Property owners gain fire protection expansion near Highway 29 South
Chetwynd council approved amending the Rural Fire Protection Area Byalw to add seven properties near Highway 29 South after a petition from residents via the Peace River Regional District. Tax increases may occur with possible insurance deductions. the area will receive limited protection with a 3000 gallon tanker and a 1050 certified pumper if needed.
