Chetwynd Boosts CT Scan Fund With Local Gifts
The CT scan machine fund in Chetwynd nears its $1.2 million goal as donors including Bob Shirley for the Chetwynd Legion Brounch 258 and Gordon Canning of the Senior Veterans Society each contribute $2,000. October gifts from Canadian Rangers Chetwynd Patrol in memory of Leonard Stephens and the Chetwynd Elks Club add $1,000. No CT machine exists in the BC Peace region, forcing patients to seek services outside the area.
