Library Briefs and Halloween Party Highlight 1989
Fay Aileson reports two months remain in 1989 with events at the library. The Halloween Storytime Party drew 90 attendees in costume with a Magic Show by Brenda Lukey and thanks to volunteers. the Pizza Reading Contest concluded with Tanya Napoleon and Jenny Henshaw leading with 34 books. A December Reading Contest and a November 20 Bingo are planned, plus a December 4–9 Giant Book Sale. New paperbacks include Massacre in Beijing Runaway Deadly Medicine Range Management. Rowland Molesworth to return. Mildred excited for Halloween prep.
