Methane as Fuel Prompts BC Conference Insights
Tony Brummer reports attending a Vancouver conference on September 28 and 29 about methane as a future fuel. Sponsored by the Ministry of University Science and Communications and the BC Energy Development Agency, it featured international speakers. Methane, major natural gas component, can power engines with minimal car tweaks, burns cleaner, and could be cheaper, though storage and pressurization costs limit widespread use.
