Local shop owners rally after spree of broken windows
Betty and Chelsea Brindle of Grindz and Bindt report repeated vandalism with three windows shattered in six months and two in the last fortnight. Heidi Greenwood of M&J Computers cites $2,700 in losses and a $5,000 deductible. They urge a downtown watch, backed by the Chamber of Commerce, to curb the destructive pattern.
