Home study TQ upgrading opens BC electricians path
Chetwynd journeyman electricians can upgrade toward the Tradesmans Qualification Certificate via a 13 week home study program from BC Open Learning Institute in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour. The course covers the Canadian Electrical Code, industrial electronics, motor controls and more with tutor support and a three hour final exam.

Police Report Details Alcohol Offenders and Auto Theft
Police report notes four liquor incidents with three drunk males and one impaired person who refused a test and resisted arrest. On May 23 one male and a young offender were arrested for theft of an auto from Moberly Lake and for possession of a stolen vehicle from Langley. Boat patrol reported activity at Moberly.
