Phillips in Chetwynd digs into growth and energy plans
The Hon. Don Phillips spent the weekend in Chetwynd meeting constituents and speaking at a Chamber of Commerce lunch. He urged optimism about regional economic growth, noted an early spring pipeline start, and said the scrubbing plant could have the greatest local impact. Major firms are expanding as drilling activity grows while coal progress lags. Australia and the U.S. compete with Canada, with talks ongoing with Japan.
