Lekstrom wins Peace River South in BC election landslide
In Dawson Creek writer Blair Lekstrom, the BC Liberal candidate, captured 64.2 percent of the vote in Peace River South, derailing the NDP and edging the Social Credit and Green Party. Lekstrom vows to continue Jack Weisgerber’s work, stating he will work hard and avoid big promises while aiming to strengthen the Liberal lead province wide.
