Chetwynd Merchants Begin Year With New President
The Chetwynd and area Merchants Association held its AGM on May 13 at the Chetwynd Motor Inn with eleven members present and three guests. President Randy Hill leads the 1992/93 executive along with Marian Hoover, Maureen Killian Gammon, Rose Bozarth and directors including Maybelle Playter who previously chaired the group. Don Hicks and Gene Martin co-chair a downtown revitalization committee proposing practical improvements funded by a mix of local, provincial, and district contributions.
