Women's Centre ends year with new board in Chetwynd
Maureen Killian Gammon reports the Chetwynd Women's Resource Society held its AGM with six attendees. New directors include President Helena Adamowicz and Vice President Margie Arac, plus Secretary Maureen Killian Gammon, Treasurer Anne Fach, and Personnel Liaison Officer Marcie Fofonoff. The centre aims to raise awareness of Status of Women issues, run workshops, and support community groups while seeking new members to advance goals amid rising poverty and low wages.
