A new study by the BC Freedom of Information and Privacy Association finds the Liberal government misses legal response deadlines in over half of general information requests and nearly two-thirds for political party requests. The report, timed for the election, cites political interference and notes a central FOI office was promised to improve efficiency and lower costs.
