On Friday April 27 the entire school joined Jump Rope for Heart raising 1388.50 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Students wore 70s attire and danced to decade tunes as parents and the community supported this worthwhile event.
The BDC Young Entrepreneur Awards recognize 13 winners aged 19 to 30 from each province and territory. The Edmonton October ceremony launches Small Business Week with an Export Achievement Award sponsored by Export Development Corporation. Winners receive mentoring, a trophy, and an all expenses paid trip. Applications open via BDC branches or 1-888-INFO-BDC with a June 8, 2001 deadline.
