Chetwynd Gymkhana Club opens season with Multi-plex event
The Chetwynd Gymkhana Club began its riding season at Pine Valley Park using the new Multi-plex for a Play-Day on April 30. Lael Brewster initiated the venue with a barrel race, while 2-1/2 year old Lee Ann Gagnon earned a keyhole ribbon amid spills. May plans include a Barrel Racing Clinic May 9 and 10 and a gymkhana on May 14, with a rodeo queen judged May 28 at the rodeo grounds.
