Little Giant 2.0 replaces Chetwynd landmark statue
Chetwynd unveils a wooden replica of the Little Giant carved by Ken Sheen replacing the concrete version on Highway 97. The beetle-kill wood blocks are glued into a solid form and painted, with the old statue moving to the Little Prairie Museum. The upgrade aligns with the Economic Development Commission’s theme drive to boost tourism.
